Anti-Bush Lady Goes Crazy
Yes, the above video in shaky – just hang tight until you get to "yelling lady." I found this video when I was going through some old files on my computer. Alright, actually, I was looking for something interesting to post with today's blog. Despite your own political views, there's something particularly enjoyable about screaming/politically active/possible-screw- loose middle-aged women who, just because, yell shit. I mean, more people should just yell shit – and not at their kids. I'm talking about at people on cell phones in line at the post office. You know the type:
Dick on cell phone: "Yeah, I need some 37 cent stamps ... what, yeah, I know, I'm AT THE POST OFFICE right now. Yeah, I totally could've. I know, DUDE ... I should ha .. What? What?"
Clerk: "Sir, it costs 39 cents to mail a letter right now ... Are you sure you want 37 cent stamps ..."
Dick: "Yeah, stamps, 37 cent, that's what I ... Oh, yeah, bro. She was so hot. Yeah, I was wasted. WHAT? I can't hear you ... Sorry, can I get my stamps. I'm pretty busy."
Clerk: "We really don't sell 37 cent stamps that much anymore because its costs ..."
Dick: " ... Dude, totally hot. And wasted. Crazy, huh? Oh, yeah, we should totally hook up later."
You get the point. Why don't we just reach out and smack those fools sometimes? Or what about men and women that just walk around - I mean you can just see it in their face - who think they're the king or queen of the world. Why don't more people just run up yell something like: "YOU SUCK!" and then roll around on the floor and laugh and drool or something. I'd pay good money to see that at the airport. I mean, is it just me, or do you see that kind of behavior a lot at the airport – jabones walking around like the world is going to come to an end if they're not there? When I had to pick up my friend Garret at the airport the other day, this 20-something woman got off the plane wearing sunglasses and staring at everybody as if they should thank their lord they had the privelege of even seeing her. If only somebody like the lady in this video was there to put her in her place.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Years of pent-up anger and stuff ... you know how it is. This video was taken the day before the 2004 presidential debate on the Arizona State Univeristy campus in Tempe. It's not great, but it'll have to do for today.
There's much good news to report today. Nike – through an agreement with those of us on Team Phoenix (that is the six Phoenix-area NYC marathon runners raising money for Team for Kids) – will match every donation you all make DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!!! up to $5,000. That means your $50 donation will actually equal $100 going to help at-risk children get nutrition, exercise advice and the tools needed to give them a chance at a healthy, happy life.
We have many other big events coming up, too, including a couple PHX area wine tastings and, perhaps, a meal here in Phoenix sponsored by a local chain. Michelle, the woman heading up our Team Phoenix fundraising, is working out the details. If you plan on donating in the next couple days, you may want to hold off as a new site is being set up specifically where Team Phoenix friends and family can donate to our cause. Things are definately getting exciting.

Also, I plan to begin launching the auction on eBay by this weekend, so some movie and music memorabilia should be up by Monday, as well as some video games and DVDs. If you're into that kind of stuff, you may want to check it out.
The picture on the right is a picture of the desert in March ... man how I miss that right now – when everything is in bloom, when you can actually go outside ...
What else is going on? Hmmm ... got a haircut, had raviolis and green beans for dinner, continuing programming my iPod (geez, that takes a long time) ... Uh, I think that's it.
Another day, another, well, you fill in the blank ... Goodbye.
